A Faerie Place!!

Carl Peterson's new CD has been sent off to the manufacturer! The "official" release of A Faerie Place will be at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games in July.

The CD is made up of traditional songs, Child ballads, poems written by Victorian era poets put to music, and one Norwegian folk song.
There are songs about fairies, elves, silkies, and other unearthly creatures. Includes 3 instrumentals by Robert Mouland, and a lyrics book, with information about the songs and ballads.

Robert Burns, widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland, was born 25 January 1759. two miles south of Ayr, in Alloway, South Ayrshire, Scotland.
In celebration we will feature some quotes and poems by Robert Burns over the next week.
